With a career defined by diligence, discipline, and innovation, Dr. Maifata stands as a model of academic excellence and administrative competence.He began his professional journey at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2011 as an Assistant Librarian and quickly distinguished himself through unwavering dedication and a sharp intellect. His rise through the academic and administrative ranks continued at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where he served in key positions including Lecturer II and Acting Deputy University Librarian.In 2021, he was appointed the Polytechnic Librarian at Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia, and in recognition of his strategic leadership, he was later entrusted with the role of Acting Rector of the institution.Dr. Maifata holds an impressive academic portfolio, including:Nigeria Certificate in Education (2003)Diploma in ICT Operations & Database Management (2007)B.LIS (2007), MIM (2011), MPhil (2016), and PhD in Library and Information Science (2021)He has published extensively, authoring over 50 scholarly works, including journal articles, textbooks, and conference presentations.
