Hon. Aliyu Bello, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, has responded resolutely to calls for his resignation from certain quarters within the party.

His response follows a vote of confidence in his leadership style by the party caucus, which identified him as a unifying force and a key figure in maintaining peace within the party.

In his statement, Hon. Bello recounted pivotal moments in recent elections, noting his crucial role as a party agent in ensuring victory for the APC in the gubernatorial elections of 2015, 2019, and 2023.

He highlighted that those now calling for his resignation are the same individuals who previously spread rumors of defeat for the APC and Governor Abdullahi Sule.

Hon. Bello emphasized his track record in representing the APC during election tribunals, appeals, and Supreme Court cases,

which consistently resulted in victories for the party. He also asserted his personal contributions, including delivering his polling units’ votes to the APC, a critical factor in the party’s success.

These developments underscore a broader narrative of political resilience and strategic leadership within the Nasarawa APC under Hon. Aliyu Bello’s tenure.
