Electricity: Gov. Sule Commission Multi- Million Naira Power Project In Doma

Governor Abdullahi Sule, Commissioned the long awaiting 7.5MVA Doma power substation .

This was inline with, Sule’s desires to provide social amenities aimed at improving the well-being of people of the state.

Our correspondent who was at the event reports that the electrification project was targeted at robots power supply and boom commercial activities in Doma and it’s surrounding.


The over N300 million naira electricity project was initiated in 2010.


In his welcome address the council Chairman Arc Ahmad Sarki Usman, expressed gratitude to Governor Sule, on his efforts to ensure actualization of the project.

According to him, commissioning of the project, 7.5 MVA power Injection substation in Doma Local Government council by administration’s governor Sule, power outage in Doma and it’s environ will be a things of the past. “This is historic and therefore, shall remain as indelible mark in the hearts of Doma people and the yet to come generations. He stated.


* We are indebted to your sacrifices in pushing development in the State and so, the people of Doma will continue to support your administration’s development strides and policies for a successful completion of your tenure in office.

On the other hand , Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu, has conferred a traditional title of Dalatun Doma on Governor Abdullahi Sule as mark of appreciation of his tremendous achievements recorded in the locality.

It would be recalled that the multi- million Naira power project was a concept of former governor of the state, Late, Aliyu Akwe Administration.
