Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has urged the Secretary of the State Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Hon Usman Labaran Shafa to justify the confidence reposed on him by Gov. Abdullahi Sule by living up to expectation while discharging his duties.

The Speaker, who was accompanied by the Majority Leader of the House, Hon Mohamed Omadefu, urged the TSC scribe to live above board in his official assignment.

The State Number Three Citizen was speaking when he paid a surprised visit to Hon Shafa in his office in Lafia today.

” I visited you to see how you are feeling, performing yourr duties, my advice is for you to live up to your responsibility because expectations are very high on you.

” You must make sure you justify the confidence His Excellency, Gov Abdullahi Sule and the Government of Nasarawa State reposed on you.

” What His Excellency want is quality education. I know with your experience as a former principal, you will ensure that the right things are done for the betterment of our education sector.

” Once more congratulations and I wish you the best,” the Speaker said.

The Speaker assured Hon Shafa of support to succeed.

Responding, Hon Labaran Shafa, the Secretary of TSC appreciated the Speaker for the visit and assured him of his readiness to live up to the expectation while discharging his duties.

Shafa, who is a former member representing Toto/ Gadabuke constituency at the State Assembly described the Speaker as a political father of Toto Local Government Area who has passion for his people, the State and humanity praying God to protect and guide him.

He assured the Speaker of his determination to discharge his duties without fear of favour.
