Hon Hajara Danyaro Ibrahim, member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says she would continue to protect and speak for the less privileged ones in the society.

This, she said, was to improve on the standard of living of the poor and other vulnerable groups in the society.

Hon Danyaro, who is the Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs stated this while playing host to management of Nigeria Television Authority ( NTA) in her office today in Lafia.

She said that all she is doing is to ensure that she bring development to her constituency and the state at large.

The lawmaker said that she has provided palliatives to the poor of the poorest in order to improve on their standard of living .

” I want to appreciate you for the visit and for showering encomium on me

” I don’t know that people knows much about me and what I am doing for the people.

” I will continue to be the voice of the voiceless, speak for the poor, less privileged and other vulnerable ones in the society,” she said

Hon Hajara disclosed that installation of solar power in her constituency has began promising to do more for her people.

She assured NTA of support and effective synergy

The lawmaker further assured of her continued determination to key into good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of her constituency and the state at large.

Earlier, Hajiya Ramatu Salaudeen, the General Manager, NTA Lafia said that the visit was to congratulate Hon Hajara Danyaro on her inauguration as member of the State House of Assembly.

” We are also here to fratenize with you and to seek for your collaboration.

” We are happy with your achievements so far as you have hit the ground running,” She said.

The General Manager also appreciated Hon Hajara for always protecting and speaking for the voiceless in the society.

” We want to appreciate you for always fighting for the common man, for being the voice of the voiceless and for fighting for the victims of market inferno among others,” he said.

In a related development, the only female legislator also played host to the delegation of Council of Muslim Graduates of Federal polytechnic Nasarawa where she assured them of her commitment of sound and quality representation.

Hon Hajara informed her visitors that she has started executing projects in her constituency that have direct bearing on the lives of her constituents.

Earlier, Mr Nasir Saeed, the leader of the delegation said that the visit was to congratulate Hon Hajara and assured her of their support at all times.
