The Nasarawa State Chapter of the Keffi Old Boys Association KOBA the old boys of Government College Keffi has underscored the significance role the Central Bank of Nigeria has played in transformation and enhancement of the standard of education in the school.
The Nasarawa State President of KOBA Arch Umar Shitu stated this while speaking to newsmen in Lafia the state capital on the series of projects carried out in the college recently.
Arch Shittu who holds the traditional title of Gado Da Masun Lafia expressed satisfaction that recently the CBN has officially handed over various projects carried out in the school to the State Government.
He commended the CBN intervention projects in Government College Keffi noting that the intervention has gone a long way in greatly improved the standard of education and create conducive learning environment.
The KOBA President also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his transformational drive in the State education sector especially the passion he has for Government College Keffi and his intervention in the institution.
He appealed for more security intervention from government and spirited individuals especially KOBA members and those within Keffi to safeguard millions of naira properties equipped in the school lamenting the rate of rubbery and vandalization in the institution in recent times.
Arch Shittu equally appealed to Governor Abdullahi Sule to fulfill his promised made of renovating Benue House and other pledges made for the school.
