The Nasarawa State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC Alh. Aliyu Bello has emerged as the New State Chairman of the party.

Similarly, Mr Yarus Dagusa a party stalwart from Toto Local Government Area also emerged as the new Secretary of APC in Nasarawa State.

They emerged today Wednesday during an expanded stakeholders meeting of the party in Government House Lafia.

The emergence of Aliyu Bello followed the appointment of his predecessor, John Wajeson Mamman as a Commissioner and Member of the Nasarawa State Executive Council.

The choice of Aliyu Bello as Chairman and Yairus Dagusa as the State Secretary of the APC it was gathered has underscores the commitment of Governor Abdullahi Sule and stakeholders of the APC to ensure the people of Nasarawa State benefit from a government that is responsive to their plight.

Responding to the development, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi congratulated them and the party for a successful shift in leadership of the State APC.

A statement by Press Secretary to the Speaker Jibrin Gwamna quotes the Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi as describing their emergence as a good omen for the APC party in the State and urged them to bring to bear their worth of experience for unity, peace and progress of the party.

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi called on all party faithfuls to give them their maximum support to enable them succeed on the task ahead of them.

While wishing them the best in their tenure, the Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen assured them of his support at all times for the benefit of the ruling party, the State and the country at large.
