Suspected ritualist who specialized in stealing children has been set ablaze by a mob that arrested him with two underage girls at Lapai town in Lapai local government area of Niger state.
The trumpet gathered that the suspect simply identified as Sule Sakon Kano, a middle aged man was apprehended with the two under age girls between the ages of four and five years old respectively.
It was reliably gathered that the victims were sent to a nearby shop to buy some domestic goods around 1:30 pm on Friday while others were going to observe their Friday prayers.
An eye witness told the Trumpet that the suspect admitted to have committed the crime and that he was to supply them to his agent who was yet to be identified.
The source added that Lapai town and its environs has witnessed several missing children without arrest hence the people took laws into their hands by killing and setting the suspect ablaze.
It was further revealed that the suspect took to his heels when the people discovered his mission and was apprehended along GGSS burial ground road where he was dragged on the road towards the town and burnt alive.
Police is yet to issue an official statement on the matter just as police in Lapai got hint of the development but before they got to the scene the suspect had already been burnt beyond recognition.
