Some terrorists group believed to be members of the deadly Islamic state of West Africa province (ISWAP), has hoisted their flag in Ang
wan Madaki area in Chukuba village of Shiroro local government area of Niger State.

This followed the last Sunday attack on military chopper bid to evacuate the bodies of twenty three military officers killed by armed bandits in Kundun village Rafi local government area of Niger State.

The terrorists group, it was gathered that hoisted their flag immediately after their successful attack on the military chopper in the community even as some of them were neutralized by the military men.

With their flag hoisted in the community, eagle eye reliably gathered that they told the villagers that they are not out to fight them but to engage the security agencies for free for all fight.

Triumph gathered that told the villagers to go about their normal farming activities without any hindrance from them ” but we will engage you people if you dare report our presence to vigilante group or soldiers”

According to one of the vilager who craved annonymity ” since their presence in the community they have been going about without any attack or molesting any members of the community”

Trumpet findings revealed that the terrorists group leader Dogo giede had already informed the villagers not to panic about his presence in their midst assuring them that their security is guaranteed

It was further gathered that the terrorists leader Dogo Giede had on Tuesday wedded a sixteen years old Christian in the community under heavy security provided by his gang.

The marriage between the terrorist leader and his 16 years old spouse simply identified as Abigail Obadiah took place on Tuesday in Agwan Madaki village in Kwasasu of Chukuba District of Shiroro local local government.

A source close to the community who spoke on condition of anonymity said the bandits leader had instructed the villagers not to flee their homes as their safety is guaranteed saying they are not after the villagers.

He was said to have slaughtered a cow and shared the meat to the villagers to celebrate his wedding on Tuesday.

Dogo Gide has remained in firm control of some communities in Shiroro local government and he is well known among the communities

It was also gathered that he attends Kwasasu market and prays every Juma’at central mosque every Friday under heavy security provided by his gang.

These communities according to our source include Kwasasu, Chukuba, Nasa, Wuaukuchi and part of Iburo where he operate with gang unchallenged.

Although,it was gathered the villagers know everything about the bandit leader and his gang including their hideout in the bush, they are however, afraid to disclose such for fear of being eliminated with their family by the bandits
Trumpet further gathered Dogo Gide recently lost some members of his gang to another bandits group who turned to invade his camp in a fierce gun battle.

It was further revealed that he would not allow the people to be molested any longer after the (villagers) had met his terms and conditions.

” As I speak with you, Dogo Gide , his family members and his gang are on the pay roll of the communities that I mentioned earlier.

” They eat free food and there is an amount of money the people contribute for him inorder to allow them to farm.The people have no choice because nobody to help them and they have nowhere to run to.

” They have to live in the communities to do their farm which is their only means of their lively hood

” Initially, when they relocated from the communities, life became completely unbearable for them. So they had to come back and embrace peace with the bandits leader and agreed with his terms” the source disclosed on condition of anonymity.


However the chairman, Shiroro local government area Akilu Isyaku Kuta has confirmed the ISWAP sect hoisted their flag at Angwan Madaki area of Chukuba Community in his local government.
Saying, ” this is the report I have received from the people in the area”.

Akilu Kuta who spoke in an interview with a private radio station monitored in Minna also confirmed that the bandits have asked the people not to relocate from their homes as their safety is guaranteed.
