The need for governments at all levels to place premium on education has been stressed .

The Chairman of Parents Teachers Association (PTA), Foundation Integrated College, Doma, Comrade Usman Muhammad Musa made the assertion in his post election speech.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the chair
Comrade Usman said the state of education in the country, particularly, Primary and Secondary education calls for State of Emergency to save it from total collapse.
It is high time that, all stakeholders in both public and private sectors get back to the drawing board to fashion out possible lasting solutions to revive all segments of our educational policies to meet up with the international rules and regulations for the benefit of our children, born and unborn.
Comrade Usman Muhammad Musa who double as the National Trustee of the Nigeria Union or Journalists (NUJ), in charge of Zone D appealed to the College Management, Teachers, Parents and Students to give the newly constituted PTA executives their maximum cooperation and support inorder to discharge their duties successfully so as to bring more productive and meaningful developments to the College.
All the positions contested are unopposed. And the following people returned as EXCO Members: Comrade Usman Muhammad Musa, Chairman, Odeh Akwe, Deputy Chairman and Ogbose Francis Mailafiya Secretary.
Others are,Mrs. Philomena Richard, Financial Secretary, Mrs. Charity Wreford, Treasurer, Isa Oteshi, PRO and Ja’afaru Manager, Auditor.
