Leadership is a commitment to serve and as such entails that those at the commanding height of leadership ought to exemplify the vision, capacity, dedication and hard work. These are imbedded qualities that had endear Senator Al-makura to the position of a minister in the Tinubu Led Government.

Almakura is an accomplished intellectual, an administrator, manager, philanthropist, politician, etc., who has created impacts on the sand of time creating many impacts in public life, especially in Nasarawa state and the country at large. He can be described as the father of politics in modern Nasarawa state who has the interest of his people at heart.

The business man turned politician In the history of the state, till now he is among those that completed their two terms as democratically elected governor of Nasarawa state.

After his governorship tenures he was elected under the All Progressive Congress of Nigeria (ACP) as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Nasarawa South Senatorial District.

Having shown his hard work, vision and commitment to the party, His people are now urging President Tinbu to appoint him as a minister. This appointment will be one striking and strategic duty he has done since he assumed office as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

As a minister he will be one of the most experienced political leaders and technocrats of his generation. In all his career trajectory, Almakura exemplifies vision, capacity and commitment to the noblest purpose that enhances, adds values and promotes the society and promotes humanity in general.

It is on this note that the appointment will be timely now that the entire country is on the verge of collapse hence the need for a uniting force like Sen. Almakura who should be chosen to bridge the gaps that caused divisive tendencies that had bedeviled the country.

If chosen, he is expected to use his wealth of experience gathered over time to coordinate activities of government using his office in actualising the great task ahead.

In the coming days, weeks or months, it is expected that Tinubu’s Executive Council will pick up ministers and expectations are high regarding the position of ministers. Expectations are that they need those that would bring to bear their wealth of experiences as a visionary leaders who has all it takes to coordinate activities of government.

As a minister, Almakura will command vision for those he would lead and as such, he would be expected to ensure proper coordination of governance. With this, Tinubu’s government will achieve much in all spheres of government with proper coordination and articulation of government of policies.
