Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has condoled the family of Hon James Dangana Akoza, former member representing Doma South Constituency at the state legislature over his demise.
Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi led other members of the Seventh Assembly on a condolence visit at the late lawmaker’s residence in Lafia today.
Speaker Balarabe described the late lawmaker as a dedicated, sincere and God fearing legislator who has contributed immense to the development of the state while alive.
He said that the state would miss the service of Hon Dangana.
” We are here to sympathize and condole with you on the death of our former colleague, late Hon. James Dangana Akoza.
” Hon Dangana was a dedicated and focused legislator. He has contributed positively to the development of the state.
” He was among the first lawmakers in the Fifth Assembly to support my Speakership ambition.
” We will miss his services but God gives life and take at will,” he said.
The Speaker urged the family, Doma South Constituency and the entire state to bear the irreparable lost and take solace in God adding that the House will continue to support the education of the deceased children to the university levels.
He prayed God to forgive the late lawmaker his shortcoming and grant him eternal rest.
Responding, Alh Muhammed Adih Ikushunta, who represented the deceased family appreciated the Speaker and the Seventh Assembly members for identifying with them at the trial moment and prayed God to bless them abundantly.
He added that the vacuum created by the demise of Hon Dangana Akoza James will be difficult to amend calling for prayers and support for the deceased family.
