…….. as Speaker Balarabe led 7th Assembly Members on a sallah homage to Gov. Sule, re-affirms their commitment to the progress of the state and support for Gov. Sule policy vision.

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State says that the leadership impasse at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly will soon be over to pave way for normal legislative proceedings and for the overall development of the state.

Gov. Sule said this when he played host to the Members of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi on a Sallah Homage at Government House Lafia today.

He congratulated the Speaker and members of the 7th Nasarawa State House of Assembly for the successful celebration of Eid El Kabir and wished them well while discharging their legislative duties.

Gov. Sule considered their visit timely, saying it was one which goes in line with the spirit of the festive period.

The Governor was quick to highlighted that the leadership impasse at the State Assembly will soon be over to pave the way for normal legislative proceedings.

He said the people of the State are eager to see their representatives legislate on matters that affect the socio-economic development of their areas and the State at large against subjecting themselves to leadership crisis.

The Governor used the medium to inform the legislators about the breakthroughs being recorded in the investment front as seen in the one hundred million dollars investment by a lithium mining company in Onda area of Nasarawa Local Government Area.

Earlier,Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, said that the visit was to rejoice and congratulate the Governor on the successful Eid-el- Kabir celebration

Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi reaffirmed their support to the Governor to achieve purposeful leadership and for peace, unity and progress of the State.

” Your Excellency, we are here to felicitate and congratulate you on the successful sallah celebration and to assure you of our continue synergy and support for you to succeed.

The Speaker also affirmed the support of the members of the State Assembly for the policies and vision of Governor Abdullahi Sule.

He called on the people of the State to support the Government of the day both at the National and State levels as well as remain committed to constituted authorities.
