Democracy Day: ex-Lawmaker, Muluku hails Gov. Sule on progress, development

” Appeals, citizens to support the governor, Speaker Balarabe to succeed•••

The immediate past Member of Nasarawa state House of Assembly representing Nassarawa Eggon East constituency Hon. Mohamed Muluku has commended, Governor Abdullahi Sule, developmental program and policies of the state within his first four years in office.

This was contained in a statement signed by Hon. Muluku, Media aide Prince Yaks Abimiku , quoted his principal saying, that democracy is moving from strength to strength, Just as he added that democracy has come to stay in the state and Nigeria in general.

” It’s no longer a news that since the returned of democracy in 1999, Nasarawa state and the country witnessed tremendous development and progress in all ramifications.
He described, Gov. Sule as messiah who God sent to salvage the state .

” He recorded meaningful achievements within the last four years. He acknowledged.

The former top ranking member of the state lawmaking body , Hon Muluku, has urges people of the state to support President Bola Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Speaker Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi and other leaders to exceed all expectations.

He called on people of the state and the country at large to continue to respect, laws of the land

” It could be recalled that former President Muhammadu Buhari on June 6, 2018, declared June 12, as Nigeria’s democracy day instead of May 29 in honour of late Chief M.K.O Abiola. The statement explained.

“Abiola who was assumed a winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election died in detention for an alleged treason.

“The declaration followed many years of agitations by civil society groups that Abiola must be immortalised. The stated added.

The former President Muhammadu Buhari, declared that the change was inline with his administration’s to remind all Nigerians of one free election presumed, Abiola, was winner. According to the statement.
