The Convener for Southern Christian Youth Leaders Ambassador Ekiye Ekiye has appeal to Nigeria’s President Elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu to appointed Nigerian youtha in to his government who can add value to the new administration and serve the country with patriotism, passion and dignity
He made the appealed in an interview with newsmen in Karu local government area of Nasarawa state.
“So far from the outcome of the 2023 general elections, not many young Nigerians won elective seats in the various elective positions. According to him.
” This created a source of concerned to young Nigerians who are hardworking and passionate about contributing to the development of their fatherland have no platform to do so.
“This development, according to him, informed his decision to plead with President Elect Tinubu to inject young citizens into his government who are brilliant, intelligent and have proven themselves to be worthy in their areas of specialization to be brought on board to see how they can add value to the new government.

“We know there is nothing God cannot do. So we believe Nigerian youths can do well if given the opportunity. There is hope for Nigeria,” he said.
Ekiye who is also the Coordinator for Youth for Peace and Good Leadership Initiative also advised the incoming administration to prioritize the education sector by reviewing it into a productive educational system, not a liability educational system.
“One good thing education should do for you is self reliance. We cannot be turning out graduates who are liabilities. Because if you are genuinely trained not informed, you will always come up with ideas to better yourself, your immediate community and the country at large.
“So his excellency should review our education system to become solution driven. We need people who will provide solutions for ways out of the challenges we face as a nation,”he said.
He also expressed hope that a southern christian would elected to serve as the next Senate president given the fact that the President Elect, Vice President Elect, are muslims.
“Some of us may not have voted for Bola Tinubu and All Progressive Congress but because God has allowed it we must support and encourage them.
“So while we continue to advocate for a southern christian Senate president I call on southern youths and nigerians youths as a whole that there is no need for protests over political positions but should come come up with ideas that will bring peace and development,” he added.
He also called on all Nigerians to give the incoming administration the benefit of doubt to prove themselves and not jump to conclusions that they will not perform.
