The National leadership of Keffi Old Boys Association (KOBA), Government College, Keffi, Nasarawa State has hailed the elevation of one of its members, the Sarkin Gurku HRH.Alh.Jibril Waziri from Second Class to First Class status by Gov. Abdullahi Sule.

The President General of KOBA, Engr. Edward Ujege led a high powered Executive Members of the Association on a solidarity visit to the monarch in his palace at Gurku, Karu L.G.A of Nasarawa State at the weekend.

He Congratulated the traditional ruler for his elevation from second class to first class status while wishing him God’s guidance, protection and wisdom as he pilot the affairs of the stool of his forefathers.

Engr. Ujege noted that the entire KOBA members across the country and beyond identified with him, thus appreciating Governor Abdullahi Sule for finding the traditional ruler worthy for elevation and assured the Governor and the Royal Father of KOBA support at all times to enable them succeed.

On his part, the KOBA President, Nasarawa State Chapter, Arc.Umar Shittu described Governor Abdullahi Sule as KOBA friendly Governor, adding that Nasarawa State as the host of KOBA fully identified with the Governor and the Traditional Institutions especially one of their own, the sarkin Gurku.

Responding, the Sarkin Gurku, HRH.Alh. Jibril Waziri thanked the KOBA executives for identifying with him and promised to continue to champion the course of peace,unity and development of the society and humanity at all times.

It would be reported that among the entourage of KOBA President General are Alh.M.B Lawal, the First Vice President, Mr.Sam Israel, Secretary General, Dr.Mathew Ashikeni President Abuja chapter and delegation of 35 members from National Secretariat, Nasarawa State and Abuja chapter respectively.
