The Speaker of the House Rt.Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has directed that all the 24 Hon. Members of the House are to resume their legislative duties tomorrow unfailingly.

Hon Members on resumption tomorrow are also expected to hold sitting , attend to some pending bills and other State matters.

Recalled that Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has proceeded on recess on 20th December, 2022 to resume February 6th, 2023 but the holiday was extended for general elections and the Ramadan fast recess among others.

The Nasarawa State 6th Assembly has this month of May to complete its legislative duties, they lawmakers will be holding their valedictory session on Wednesday 31st May, 2023 marking the end of the 6th Assembly.

The 7th Assembly is expected to be inaugurated early June depends on Governor Abdullahi Sule’s proclamation to that effect.
