PASSIONATE APPEAL FOR CONSIDERATION OF GIZA DEVELOPMENT AREA AS FIRST CLASS CHIEFDOM

Let me first and foremost recognize and salute the wisdom of His Excellency for upgrading some chiefdoms to first class, second class and third class respectively. I respectfully congratulate the beneficiaries of this rare benevolence.

Your Excellency sir, the ancient town of Giza has a long time standing history in the areas of farming and political participation which has significantly contributed immensely to the development of the state. Because we have been very supportive to all government policies and programmes and had been subservient to government of the day.

However, let me passionately appeal to His Excellency to please upgrade Giza from second class to a first class chiefdom. This will attract more development to the area and enhance the socio-economic wellbeing of the people.

I hope His Excellency will listen to our plea and consider us for this favour.
