APC National Chair Adamu backs Gov. Sule’s reelection bid.

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Abdullahi Adamu,  has backed  the reelection of Governor Abdullahi Sule second term bid come March 18 Governorship and state Assembly elections.

He made  his position known during a grand rally in honour and support of the Nasarawa state governor held at Keffi local government area of the state.

The party number one man, Sen. Adamu used the rally to appealed to (APC), supporters and residents of Nasarawa West Senatorial District as well as general public across the state to come out in their multiple number and vote the incumbent governor consider his developmental achievements recorded within he 4 years in office.

“Giving  Governor Sule,  another term would afford him the opportunity to complete the unfinished works he had embarked on in his first tenure. Sen. Adamu.

Adamu who was the first democratically elected governor of  Nasarawa state said he would ensure fairness and equity in terms of allowing governor Sule, to  complete his second tenure.

“There is no one else we should be voting for except governor Sule so he can come back and complete his remaining four years tenure before we vote in someone else.

“Now the election has been shifted to March 18th. Despite that there is no rest till we complete the exercise and Governor Sule is pronounced as winner and Governor Elect,” he said.

He then urged supporters to continue to conduct themselves in an orderly manner and avoid actions that will break the law.

Speaking to Journalists former Secretary to Government of Nasarawa State and Organizer of the rally as well as Chairman of a political group known as United Western zone for governor Sule reelection, Hon. Aliyu Tijani, stated  that the rally was inline with their  fulfilment of a pledge made to the governor in the past that no politician from Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone would contest against him in 2023.

” Let me also informed you  that stakeholders in the zone had also pledged to give the state governor maximum support towards success of his reelection quest.

“We are here to tell the world that we had said earlier has come to reality. We also want to inform the world till today there is never a single individual from this part of the state who is contesting the Governorship in any of the parties that we have in the state.

“This has shown the credibility of the people of the western zone and trustworthiness of the people of the western zone. Today we decided to organize this rally to officially inform his Excellency that we are with him and will give him our maximum support,” he said.

In a spread interview, Barr. Labaran Magaji, an APC chieftain from the zone said the unity exhibited by the people of the Nasarawa West Senatorial Zone irrespective of their differences in terms of religion, tribe, politics and any other sharp division line they are all for governor Sule.

“We have made our resolve to vote massively for Governor Sule to return to office and continue the good work he has been doing. Speculations about disunity in the APC in the western zone are not real because we are all united. We are one. We are people with one voice,” he added.

On his part the Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government Area, Hon. Mohammed Sani-Otto, showered encomium on, Governor Sule for marking sure he champion fight against insecurity among other. ” Governor Sule deserved second term that is why western zone come out to showed their support and to ensure he return to Government House Lafia in March 18, Polls.
